{"id":3627,"date":"2019-08-30T08:34:23","date_gmt":"2019-08-30T08:34:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/?p=3627"},"modified":"2024-10-01T13:12:49","modified_gmt":"2024-10-01T13:12:49","slug":"france-experimental-use-pilotless-aircrafts-for-pesticides-spraying","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/en\/france-experimental-use-pilotless-aircrafts-for-pesticides-spraying\/","title":{"rendered":"FRANCE: Experimental use of pilotless aircrafts for pesticides spraying"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The agriculture and food law, also called EGalim law authorises the experimental use of pilotless aircrafts, for a 3-year period (October 2018 \u2013 October 2021), for aerial spraying of plant protection products authorised in organic farming or within in certified farms, authorised for aerial spraying,and limited to crop areas with a slope equal to or higher than 30% (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/eli\/loi\/2018\/10\/30\/AGRX1736303L\/jo\/texte#JORFARTI000037548041\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">article 82<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This experiment aims at assessing the benefits of the use of pilotless aircrafts for the limitation of work-related accident\u00a0 and for the application of pesticides.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It should be implemented in accordance with the French regulation as regards pilotless aircrafts, in particular Orders dated 18 May 2018 and 17 December 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The EGAlim law sets that the experiment should be assessed by Anses. The law also sets that the conditions and modalities of this experiment should be defined by a joint order signed by the ministers of environment, agriculture and health, to ensure that there is no unacceptable risk for the Health and for the Environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The draft Order was proposed for public consultation from 26 June to 17 July 2019.
