{"id":4152,"date":"2020-04-30T18:28:28","date_gmt":"2020-04-30T18:28:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/?p=4152"},"modified":"2024-10-01T12:08:51","modified_gmt":"2024-10-01T12:08:51","slug":"france-glyphosate-teams-selected-to-conduct-complementary-studies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/en\/france-glyphosate-teams-selected-to-conduct-complementary-studies\/","title":{"rendered":"FRANCE: Glyphosate &#8211; Teams selected to conduct complementary studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In August 2019, ANSES launched a call for tenders for the conduct of several complementary <em>in vitro<\/em> and <em>in vivo<\/em> studies following the controversy over the carcinogenic classification of glyphosate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the evaluation of the proposals and the analysis of relationships of interest, ANSES announce the selection of the following teams: a consortium coordinated by the \u201cInstitut Pasteur de Lille\u201d and the International agency for research on cancer (IARC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These research teams will benefit from a global founding of 1,2 million euros under the Ecophyto II+ plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All these additional studies aim to establish the most complete scientific expertise possible on the carcinogenic potential of glyphosate.
