The guidance document was drafted by the German Environment Agency (<em>Umweltbundesamt, UBA<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The document gives recommendations on how to consider transformation products formed by soil photolysis when calculating predicted environmental concentrations in groundwater (PECgroundwater) using PELMO and PEARL models. It describes possible parameterisations of the photolytic pathway in a tiered approach. For PEARL, only the Tier 1 approach is currently possible.
