{"id":4674,"date":"2021-03-12T12:23:34","date_gmt":"2021-03-12T12:23:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/?p=4674"},"modified":"2023-01-26T14:36:22","modified_gmt":"2023-01-26T14:36:22","slug":"europe-com-publication-of-the-list-of-co-formulants-banned-in-ppp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/en\/europe-com-publication-of-the-list-of-co-formulants-banned-in-ppp\/","title":{"rendered":"EUROPE &#8211; COM: Publication of the list of co-formulants banned in PPP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Following the public consultation of 16 January 2020 on the draft list of co-formulants banned in plant protection products and its revision in May 2020 (see our previous articles), the Commission published on 4 March 2021 on the Official Journal of the European Union the <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32021R0383&amp;from=FR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Regulation (EU) 2021\/383<\/b><\/a> amending Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 1107\/2009 listing co-formulants which are not accepted for inclusion in plant protection products.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Regulation (EU) 2021\/383 thus lists the<b> co-formulants which are banned in the composition of plant protection products and adjuvants<\/b>. Member states must then review the composition of the products currently authorised and <b>withdraw or amend<\/b> <b>as soon as possible the authorisations of products <\/b>containing these banned co-formulants, with a maximum deadline of <b>24 March 2023<\/b>. <b>Grace periods<\/b> are set at a maximum of <b>3 months for sale and distribution and 9 additional months for the disposal, storage and use <\/b>from the date of amendment or withdrawal of the authorisation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">However, the co-formulants listed in the annex may be present as <b>unintentional impurities <\/b>in other authorised co-formulants at a concentration not exceeding <b>0.1 % w\/w<\/b> in the finished plant protection product or adjuvant.
