{"id":4718,"date":"2021-03-30T15:52:24","date_gmt":"2021-03-30T15:52:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/?p=4718"},"modified":"2024-10-01T09:53:04","modified_gmt":"2024-10-01T09:53:04","slug":"europe-27-march-2021-new-rules-for-confidentiality-claims-for-dossiers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/en\/europe-27-march-2021-new-rules-for-confidentiality-claims-for-dossiers\/","title":{"rendered":"EUROPE: 27 March 2021, new rules for confidentiality claims for dossiers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32019R1381&amp;from=EN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transparency Regulation (EU) 2019\/1381<\/a> entered into force on 27 March 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From this date, new rules apply as regards the confidentiality of dossiers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The applicants who want to request for certain information to be kept confidential pursuant to article 63 of <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=celex%3A32009R1107\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Regulation (EC) 1107\/2009<\/a> amended by <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32019R1381&amp;from=EN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Regulation (EU) 2019\/1381<\/a> should submit with their applications the form \u00ab Request for certain information to be kept confidential \u00bb available in Annex 10 of the guidance document<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/food\/sites\/food\/files\/plant\/docs\/pesticides_aas_guidance_mut_rec_en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> SANCO\/13169\/2010 Rev. 11<\/a> on zonal assessment, mutual recognition, withdrawal and amendment of authorisations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By default, only the information regarding the identity of authors of vertebrate studies are considered as confidential. For all the other data for which confidentiality is claimed, the applicants must justify their request in the form.
