{"id":4910,"date":"2021-09-30T09:57:03","date_gmt":"2021-09-30T09:57:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/?p=4910"},"modified":"2023-01-26T14:19:42","modified_gmt":"2023-01-26T14:19:42","slug":"europe-com-update-of-mrl-setting-procedure-sante-2015-10595-rev-6-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/en\/europe-com-update-of-mrl-setting-procedure-sante-2015-10595-rev-6-1\/","title":{"rendered":"EUROPE &#8211; COM : Update of MRL setting procedure (SANTE\/2015\/10595 rev. 6.1)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Commission published an update of Technical Guidelines SANTE\/2015\/10595 \u201cMRL setting procedure in accordance with articles 6 to 11 of Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 and article 8 of Regulation (EC) No 1107\/2009\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The last version (rev. 5.5) was dated February 2021. The purpose was to detail the <\/span><b>new requirements<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in the <\/span><b>pre-submission phase<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>submission application procedure <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in relation with the implementation of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32019R1381&amp;from=FR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Transparency Regulation<\/span><b> (<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">EU) 2019\/1381<\/span><\/a><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In this new version 6.1, the conditions that lead to the setting of temporary MRLs have been detailed for the following \u2018<\/span><b>exceptional cases<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cases of<\/span><b> emergency authorisations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> notably where pesticide residues arise as a result from uses of plant protection products.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cases of <\/span><b>environmental contamination<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, of <\/span><b>cross-contamination<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from storage facilities and handling circuits and cases of c<\/span><b>ontamination due to the transfer of residues from the treated parts of the plant to food products<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in relation with the active substance persistence.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cases of <\/span><b>natural occurrence of substances<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> unauthorised use as a pesticide and of <\/span><b>substances with multiple uses<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> whose residues are not a consequence of uses in plant protection.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These new provisions apply to all MRL applications submitted as of 27 March 2021.
