The previous version was the initial version of February 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This evolving note mainly focuses on processing factors (Pf) and processed food and feed and the aim is to provide guidance to Member States (MS) (including Official Control Laboratories) on <\/span><b>how to implement Article 20 provisions of Regulation (EC) 396\/2005 in a harmonised way<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">,<\/span><b> ultimately leading to a situation by which processing factors established by one MS could be mutually accepted by other MS.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It provides information on the general principles for implementation by MS in their enforcement activities, including the calculation of processing factors and derived MRLs applicable to processed products, and the application of processing factors to MRLs.
