{"id":8507,"date":"2025-09-05T08:19:53","date_gmt":"2025-09-05T08:19:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/?p=8507"},"modified":"2025-11-13T11:03:33","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T11:03:33","slug":"france-list-of-sports-equipment-authorised-for-the-use-of-plant-protection-products","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/en\/france-list-of-sports-equipment-authorised-for-the-use-of-plant-protection-products\/","title":{"rendered":"FRANCE: List of sports equipment covered by the exemption of the ban on the use of plant protection products"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Since January 1, 2025, the ban on the use of plant protection products (PPPs) \u2013 excluding biocontrol and low-risk products, or products usable in organic farming \u2013 applies to all sports facilities and racecourses, in accordance with the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/download\/pdf?id=XzNYvqoTx3TdfUroQBuMdF3o5lLmdRUUpFMr6ZWnSW4=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Order\u00a0 of January 15, 2021<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, amending the Order of May 4, 2017 on the marketing and use of PPPs and their adjuvants referred to in Article L. 253-1 of the French Rural and Maritime Fishing Code.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">However, pending effective alternative solutions, exemptions have been granted in order to ensure turf quality sufficient for official competitions. The<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/download\/pdf?id=XPMFgVxWLLB-i16hTXWjkDrwnIZoL-yLf6tjc1dtbvA=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Order of January 10, 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> established a list of 6 uses for the treatment of grass turf (weed control, diseases, pests) for which PPPs benefit from an exemption and may continue to be used.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The new <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/download\/pdf?id=J8wHBJ2vmWoYELRjs-Dc-hoZ3-cjyYtGqpHZS1Oyc44=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Order of July 31, 2025<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> now specifies the sports facilities concerned by the exemption.
