{"id":8611,"date":"2025-12-01T12:18:52","date_gmt":"2025-12-01T12:18:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/?p=8611"},"modified":"2025-12-17T04:29:46","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T04:29:46","slug":"europe-com-new-update-of-the-analytical-guidance-document-for-residue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/en\/europe-com-new-update-of-the-analytical-guidance-document-for-residue\/","title":{"rendered":"EUROPE \u2013 COM : New update of the analytical guidance document for residue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The European Commission has published on 25 November 2025 an <\/span><b>update of the guidance document SANTE\/11312\/2021<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on analytical quality control and <\/span><b>method validation procedures for pesticide residues analysis in food and feed<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. This 2026 version updates the second version in force since 01 January 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Main changes with respect to the previous version are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In Appendix A:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A criterion to verify that sub sampling variability is acceptable has been introduced in under \u201c<em>Quantitative analysis<\/em>\u201d. Sample comminution should ensure sufficient homogeneity to keep sub-sampling variability within acceptable limits.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Validation requirements have been introduced for cases where background levels may be present in procedural blanks or blank samples.
