{"id":8629,"date":"2025-12-31T08:29:03","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T08:29:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/?p=8629"},"modified":"2026-01-16T08:38:28","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T08:38:28","slug":"france-list-of-substances-concerned-by-the-tax-on-diffuse-pollution-for-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lynxee.consulting\/en\/france-list-of-substances-concerned-by-the-tax-on-diffuse-pollution-for-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"FRANCE: List of substances concerned by the Tax on Diffuse Pollution for 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <\/span><b>Tax on Diffuse Pollution,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> set by the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/loda\/id\/JORFTEXT000000649171\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">law for water and aquatic environments No. 2006-1772<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, is collected by French water agencies and offices when plant protection products (PPPs) are purchased and aims to reduce environmental pollution and human exposure to the hazardous substances contained by PPPs. The article L.213-10-8 of the Code of Environment defines the tax basis, depending on the active substance content in the products, and sets the tax rate applied, which depends on the substance classification according to the of Regulation (EC) 1272\/2008 (CLP).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The list of substances concerned by the Tax on Diffuse Pollution is set by the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/loda\/id\/JORFTEXT000023175055\/2025-01-22\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Order of 22th November 2010 <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and is updated every year in order to consider the evolution of substance classification.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The updated list of substances concerned by the French Tax on Diffuse Pollution, defined in the Order of 17 December 2025, has been published in the Official Journal of 23 December 2025.
