The Ministry of Ecological Transition has opened, from May 26 to June 16, 2026, a <\/span>public consultation<\/b><\/a> on a draft order establishing the list of uses of plant protection products for which no alternative technical solution can provide the quality required for official competitions in sports facilities<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This project aims to extend the initial order<\/a> of January 10, 2025, which expires on July 1, 2026, for an additional 24 months.<\/span><\/p>\n

The deadline for finalising the roadmap<\/b> to stop the use of plant protection products ((excluding biocontrol products, low-risk products or products authorised for organic farming) has been postponed from July 31, 2025, <\/span>to July 31, 2026<\/b>. Furthermore, the draft now directly targets sports ground owners and managers for both the development and implementation of this roadmap.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry in charge of sports must now <\/span>review and revise annually the list of sports facilities<\/b> benefiting from this exemption.<\/span><\/p>\n
