
EUROPE – COM: Public Consultation on the Amendment of Data Requirements and Uniform Principles for active substances and PPPs
12 September 2025The European commission has launched a public consultation up to 17 October 2025 on a draft implementing regulation aimed to list 14 additional substances as unacceptable co-formulants in Annex III to Regulation (EC) 1107/2009, according to the criteria established in Regulation (EU) 2023/574 for identifying unacceptable co-formulants in plant protection products (PPP).
Member States that have granted authorisations to PPPs or to adjuvants containing co-formulants listed in Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 shall amend or withdraw those authorisations as soon as possible and no later than 2 years after the entry into force of that Regulation.
Any grace period granted shall be as short as possible. The grace period for the sale and distribution shall expire no later than 3 months after the date of amendment or withdrawal of the authorisations, and for the disposal or use of the stocks of products it shall expire no later than 12 months after that date.
This implementing regulation under consultation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
