Following the public consultation held in January 2026, EFSA has finalised and published the protocol for the evaluation of emergency authorisations for fungicides and bactericides under Article 53 on March 17, 2026.

In the final version of the protocol, the overall structure and methodological principles remain similar. For more details on the objectives and content of the protocol, we invite you to consult our previous articles.
