Following the public consultation held in October 2025, EFSA has finalised and published the protocol for the evaluation of emergency authorisations for insecticides and acaricides under Article 53 on January 29, 2026.

In the final version of the protocol, the overall structure and methodological principles remain similar. For more details on the objectives and content of the protocol, we invite you to consult our previous article.
