31 May 2021The 17th ATP (adaptation to technical progress) of the CLP (regulation (EC) No 1272/2008) was published on 28 May 2021 in the Official Journal of the European Union. It mainly takes into account the opinions of the Risk Assessment Committee (RAC) of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) on the proposals issued between March and September 2019 to add, update or delete harmonised classification and labelling of some substances.
Thus, Part 3 of Annex VI of the CLP regulation has been amended with the addition of harmonised classification and labelling for 22 new substances, the modification for 41 substances and the deletion of one substance. Harmonised Acute Toxicity Estimates (ATE) values have also been included in this Annex.
This Regulation shall apply from 17 December 2022.
