LYNXEE: Appointment of Virginie Taurin as Expert in Efficacy
6 June 2024FRANCE–ANSES: Withdrawal of S-metolachlor-based products
14 June 2024Further to the French Order of 20 November 2021 regarding the protection of bees and other pollinating insects when plant protection products are used, the Ministry of Agriculture issued on 24 March 2022 in the Official Bulletin, a list of crops that were considered as non-attractive for bees and other pollinators.
In a decision issued on 26 April, the French Council of State, referred by the Beekeeper Federation of Occitanie, cancelled this list as it included lentil, pea (Pisum sativum), soybean and vine. The Council considered that, given the scientific information available at the time the list was issued, those crops should not have been considered as non-attractive.
The follow-up of this cancellation is unknown for now.
