3 April 2020In accordance with CLP Regulation No. 1272/2008, any phytopharmaceutical product with an authorisation or a parallel trade permit must be classified by manufacturers. However, the classification of the product may change as a result of an updated classification of one of its constituents.
When the harmonised classification and labelling of hazardous substances is updated through an Adaptation to Technical Progress (ATP), the holder of the authorisation or parallel trade permit must notify ANSES no later than 2 months before the application date of the regulation related to the new adaptation to technical progress of the CLP.
The products classified and labelled in accordance with the new ATP will be put on the market on the date of application of the aforementioned regulation. The end of sale and the end of use of the stocks of products will be set respectively on 6 months and 18 months following the application date of the regulation.
