4 September 2023The Order of 14 February 2023 on measures to protect persons when using certain plant protection products, introduced a non-reducible safety distance of 10 metres when treating aerial parts of plants near the areas as defined in Article L. 253-7-1 and point III of Article L. 253-8 of the Rural Code, as well as areas where workers are regularly present (Article 14-1-1 of the Order of 4 May 2017).
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food published on 06 April 2023 in the Official Bulletin the first version of the list of uses concerned (DGAL/SDSPV/2023-237 – version 1).
This list was updated on 03 August 2023 (DGAL/SDSPV/2023-510 – version 2).
Version 2 updates the list of PPPs with valid marketing authorisation (list A) in particular by indicating parallel trade permits. The update also covers PPPs without a valid marketing authorisation but whose use remains possible under the grace period for the sale of stocks (list B).
