FRANCE: 2026 national memo on the sustainable management of resistance to fungicides in cereals
30 January 2026The European commission has published a new draft implementing regulation aimed at amending Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 (list of unacceptable co-formulants), according to the criteria established in Regulation (EU) 2023/574 for identifying unacceptable co-formulants in plant protection products (PPP). Previously open for public consultation until October 2025, the draft regulation aimed at banning certain unacceptable co-formulants in PPPs has been amended. While the text published in September 2025 targeted 14 substances, the new version now only lists 12 (2-pyrrolidone and acetophenone are no longer included).
For more details on the modification or withdrawal of PPPs or adjuvants containing co-formulants listed in Annex III, we invite you to consult our previous post.
This implementing regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
