FRANCE–ANSES: Withdrawal of S-metolachlor-based products

Following the entry into force of the Commission implementing regulation (EU) 2024/20 of 12 December  2023, concerning the non-renewal of the approval of the active substance S-metolachlor, ANSES proceeded with the withdrawal of 5 authorisations and 5 parallel trade permits of S-metolachlor-based plant protection products. As a reminder, the withdrawal date is set for 23 April, the end of sale and distribution is set for 23 June, and the end of stock use is set for 23 July, 2024.

ANSES also modified the grace period for uses that had already been withdrawn before 22 April, 2024. For these uses, the grace period for the storage and use of stocks is also granted until 23 July, 2024.
