FRANCE: Anses modifies captan-based products authorisations
14 November 2024The ECHA guidance is a comprehensive technical and scientific document series that aims to provide detailed guidance on the application of the CLP criteria for physical, health and environmental hazards, as defined in the framework of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
The present update covers the new hazard classes introduced with the recent Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/707. This regulation includes, in particular, the classification criteria for substances identified as endocrine disruptors for human health or the environment, PBT (Persistent, Bioaccumulative, Toxic) or vPvB (very Persistent, very Bioaccumulative), PMT (Persistent, Mobile, Toxic) or vPvM (very Persistent, very Mobile). See our previous articles (below).
For an easier use, ECHA decided to split its guidance document into five documents:
- an overview document,
- document Part 1 presenting the general principles for classification and labelling (ECHA recommends to consult it before consulting any other document), and,
- documents Part 2, 3 and 4/5 dealing with physical, health, and environmental and additional hazards, respectively.
