FRANCE: Publication of Anses assessment on the use of copper in agriculture

The list of products affected by the incompressible 20-meter safety distance set by the Order of 27 December 2019 as regards measures to protect residents when using plant protection products (PPP) has just been updated.
This list was updated on July 16, 2025 following the withdrawal of marketing authorisations, mainly due to the non-renewal of certain active substances or to the addition of substances of concern recently considered to have harmful endocrine disrupting effects on humans.
This update concerns PPPs with valid marketing authorisation and PPPs without valid marketing authorisation but whose use remains possible under the grace period for the sale of stocks. The list includes reference, generic and resale products and also parallel trade permits.
