EUROPE – EFSA: Update of the guidance on active substance applications for approval and renewal and on MRL applications
20 June 2024FRANCE: Revised List of Non-Attractive Crops to Bees and Other Pollinating Insects
22 July 2024The decree of July 4th, 2024, setting the fees to be paid to Anses, relating to marketing authorisation for phytopharmaceutical products, adjuvants, fertilisers and growing media, will enter in force on August 1, 2024, and will repeal the decree of december 15, 2022.
The new decree readjusts the fees associated with each application to bring them into line with the cost of the application instructions.
Most of the fees were increased by 15%. Higher increases are observed as examples for:
- the approval and renewal of active substances, safeners or synergists other than low risk or biocontrol active substances,
- the technical equivalence of a new source of active substance or the revision of active substance specifications,
- the marketing authorisation or renewal of authorisation of “conventional” plant protection products,
- the fee caps for label extensions,
- the minor or non-significant change of composition of products.
Moreover, in case of the inadmissibility of an application, the flat rate amount of 500 euros withheld on the fees refund will be replaced by an amount of 10% of the fees without being less than 575 euros.
