EUROPE – EFSA: New version of the OPEX calculator

EFSA has released a new version of the OPEX tool (v 1.1.1), calculator for the assessment of exposure to plant protection products of operators, workers, residents and bystanders. This update has corrected mistakes, and increased its flexibility of use thanks to additional functionalities and ad hoc reporting.

This online calculator is annexed to the 2022 EFSA Guidance.

EFSA has hosted a dedicated webinar focusing on the updated OPEX Calculator, with the aim to present the new functionalities and provide instructions and clarifications on how to use it. Moreover, an overview of the OPEX project for the update of the Guidance was also provided.
