
FRANCE: Update of the national catalog of plant protection uses
8 April 2025Anses released an update of the note on new French provisions concerning the protection of bees.
The main changes to the note are summarised below:
- In chapter 3.1, greenhouses are now included, in addition to closed protected structures (“abris fermés”), in the case list where the mention “not concerned” apply, in line with Annex 1 of the Order of 20 November 2021;
- Clarifications of chapters 3.2 and 5.2 as regards generic and resale products: the complementary data provided for in article 8-V of the Order of 20 November 2021 shall be submitted by 1st January 2026; either via the renewal dossier (Article 43 of Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009), or via a modification of condition of use dossier, or, for resale products, via a demand for a product of identical composition in relation to the modification of conditions of use dossier of the reference product;
- Changes made in Chapter 6.1 suggest that Anses completed the updates and reassessments necessary further to the correction of the national list of non-attractive crops of 5 July 2024, for Anses decisions taken since 1st January 2022 (see our previous posts).
