FRANCE – ANSES: Update of the Note on French Provisions Concerning the Protection of Bees

Anses released an update of the note on new French provisions concerning the protection of bees.

The main changes to the note are summarised below:

In chapter 3.1, greenhouses are now included, in addition to closed protected structures (“abris fermés”), in the case list where the mention “not concerned” apply, in line with Annex 1 of the Order of 20 November 2021;
Clarifications of chapters 3.2 and 5.2 as regards generic and resale products: the complementary data provided for in article 8-V of the Order of 20 November 2021 shall be submitted by 1st January 2026; either via the renewal dossier (Article 43 of Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009), or via a modification of condition of use dossier, or, for resale products, via a demand for a product of identical composition in relation to the modification of conditions of use dossier of the reference product;
Changes made in Chapter 6.1 suggest that Anses completed the updates and reassessments necessary further to the correction of the national list of non-attractive crops of 5 July 2024, for Anses decisions taken since 1st January 2022 (see our previous posts).
